Health and Safety Information

See latest version of Safety Data Sheet (SDS) in our Download section of the website.

Viscosity

The SHINE product has liquid-like properties with low viscosity. The viscosity of the new crystal glass composition can be adjusted by either diluting using a relevant thinner according to your colour system.

Tunability Options of Visual Effects

SHINE is used to create a dynamic light effect and, depending on customer’s requirements, the visual effect can be optimized by adding additional combinations of metallics or pearlescent pigments.
SHINE and additional pigments will also have an influence to the appearence of your colours.

The final product composition must be determined by the customer depending on desired SHINE Effect strength, color intensity, visual effects, and viscosity characteristics. It is recommended to test SHINE products as to their suitability for customer’s envisaged purpose prior to use.

Special Instructions

Operating temperatures 5 – 25 °C

Before use, homogenize the SHINE mechanically by stirring without introducing any air bubbles. Depending on the colour type you use the stirring time should be at least some minutes.
Both SHINE and final product composition may display some sedimentation or separation, requiring the product to be mechanically stirred or shaken before use and before measurement of relevant properties.

For spray paints: In operation during spraying use filters (100µm recommended)

Cleaning

It is recommended to use warm water to remove contamination if spilled. Easily cleanable from most surfaces. Removable from non-porous surfaces.
